I might be dating the wrong roommate

On a throwaway acc to make this post, but I’ve been in a relationship for about 7 months (currently sophomore in college) with an amazing girl. She’s all the great things one could ask for, pretty, smart, kind, etc. However, she’s not a big farter. Like we’ve talked farting before but rarely, she clearly sees it as gross and unladylike, she always claims she doesn’t do it, etc. So of course, I haven’t told her about the fetish. However, ever since hanging out with her I’ve also been more around her roommate , I’ll call her Vanessa, (who after a conversation with my GF, I had found out is more of a farter). Let me tell you, her roommate is like a goldmine. Her roommate is a shorter (like 5’3”) Mexican with, unfortunately, a more pronounced butt than my GF. She frequently talks about farts and I have experienced them a handful times (many though via calls) and I know she does it a lot when others aren’t around. 

I first found out through a text message conversation with my GF, which I guess I could post SS of with the real names taken out. There’s been a few instances where she was farting irl and only two times where I actually smelled them. The rest were overheard on the phone, or just conversations (either overheard or directly from her) about farting.

I’ll talk about some right now. The first time I heard one was over FaceTime. Basically I’ll talk to my gf on FaceTime and idk what headphones she uses but ig they don’t have a mic (or at least not good one) because I can still hear basically the whole room. Lots of times she’ll be in the room with Vanessa, and just be completely silent, as if she’s not talking to anyone, I assume to not disturb her. However, this often leads Vanessa to believe that it’s just them in there and she just talks/behaves normally not knowing I can hear her. They’ll have full conversations that my GF just kinda lets me listen to lots of times. 

So the first one happened on FaceTime and my gf is being silent, Vanessa just breaks silence by saying “I gotta fart” my gf looks up at her and replies “Okay!… You can do it now.” (I know it sounds weird but it’s just how my GF talks idk she's really nice) Then I just hear a loud, full 2-second BLAST, like PPRRRRRRRRRRFTTTT I literally see my gfs mouth open a little, she kinda has her hand resting between her mouth and nose, almost covering her mouth. Then I hear Vanessa in the background just laughing and says “I’m sorry!”. And then my gf says “No you’re good.” Very friendly. 

Then about 10 minutes later, no warning just bbrrrrrrrrrppppffffffffffttttttt, quieter but much longer ripper sounding fart. My gf just looks up in disbelief at her roommate. Vanessa starts laughing again goes “I’m so sorry, they don’t smell, I swear.” Now obviously I can’t see her but like I think she’s fanning it up to herself at this point. Then much later when they went to sleep (yes my gf and I fall asleep on the phone together and she doesn’t talk the whole night ik it’s weird) my gf was already snoring lightly. I just hear in the background another, muffled now, bassier BRRRRRRPPFFFFTTTT. Followed by what I can only assume was the fanning of covers. 

The first real time I experienced one was when we with a larger group of friends were all hanging out at their apartment. Me, my gf, Vanessa, another mexican girl, an asian girl I’ll call Annie, and their gay guy friend. They have an L shaped couch and carpeted floor, we were watching a movie. I was on the main part of the couch with my gf, Annie was on the long L part of the couch, The other mexican girl was between my gf and Annie, then basically at my feet, but a bit aways were Vanessa and the gay guy who were sitting on the floor watching.

So out of nowhere, Vanessa goes “Does anyone smell popcorn??” Instantly, the gay guy, pushes her, gets up and says “You f\*\*\*\*\*\* nasty! She f\*\*\*\*\* farted.”, Vanessa just starts dying laughing, falling sideways, where he just was sitting. Annie starts laughing too, my gf is like embarrassed/grossed out, im turned on. The other Mexican girl is also laughing but is like “Vanessa what the hell dude!”. The smell his me, its like weird smelling, i don’t like to draw a comparison to food, but maybe like burning brussel sprouts? Everyone starts putting their shirt over their nose. Vanessa is still cackling, she’s like “I’m sorry dude! I didn’t know it was gonna be that bad!” the gay guy goes “You always do this!” Amidst the chaos, Annie says something also hot, she goes “Dude I farted too like 20 minutes ago, but I did it that way (pointing at direction away from the couch) so you guys wouldn’t smell!” More laughter/disgust. Vanessa goes “It’s the boba we had dude, I’m telling you!” A few of them had gotten boba before coming to the apartment. 

I do have like one and a half more real stories I experienced but this post is already very long. I might post more down the line and I also have SS of texts with my gf about Vanessa farting so there’s that. Feel free to dm i feel like sharing more, cus its kinda a horrible situation not gonna lie. Like I love my gf but her roommate is so damn hot. lmao torture. Advice and thoughts welcome.
