Little vent about the community
Heya, Bonjour,
I've been part of this community for some time, and I feel we need to have an honest conversation about some people's public behavior and the reputation you're creating for yourselves.
Many women on TicToc and other platforms post harmless, funny videos about passing gas without any sexual intention. Yet consistently, these videos get flooded with comments from this fetish community members saying things like "can I smell?" or "please make more videos" or directly asking "do you have the fetish too?"
Even worse, many go as far as sending private messages with explicit requests to these content creators.
The result? These women, who were just having fun and had no idea this could be someone's fetish, end up making follow-up videos expressing shock and discomfort about all the strange messages they've received. They publicly share how uncomfortable they felt discovering their innocent content attracted such attention.
This behavior makes this entire community look predatory and disrespectful. It's no wonder many people view this fetish negatively when they only see these inappropriate interactions.
Even me as someone who's part of this fetish community, I receive incredibly uncomfortable messages that make me not want to engage at all. Messages like "I saw your camping story, we should be in a tent together and fart together" or "come fart in my face" or even this one person who keeps spamming every day in my dms "post more, I want your farts" with zero prior conversation or connection. This happens despite being open about my interests.
Remember:
1. Not every fart video is an invitation for fetish engagement
2. People making humorous content aren't consenting to be part of your sexual fantasy
3. Commenting sexual things on non-sexual content is harassment
4. Sending unsolicited fetish requests is never okay
If you want your interest to be respected, you need to show respect first. There are plenty of consensual spaces and content created specifically for this fetish.
This was a little vent because I know this message is not gonna change a thing about the situation, but before sending a private message ask yourself "would I say the same thing in real life?"
